Jackie Roe
Jackie Roe is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has always had a keen interest in relationships and how they work. As a relational therapist, Jackie views problems not as residing within people, but within relationships between people. Jackie's experience includes working in holistic private practices as well as an inpatient psychiatric hospital which has exposed her to treating a wide range of disorders using different methods. By working together, Jackie collaborates with her clients towards sustainable change resulting in stronger, healthier relationships and personal growth. Whether an individual, couple, or family, Jackie guides treatment based on the client's needs, and does so with compassion, empathy, and respect.

We all go through challenging times in our lives, therapy is meant to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to work through life's difficulties. The goal of therapy is to feel supported while learning new strategies and perspective to navigate presenting concerns, and create personal growth.

Family life is comprised of transitions through life cycles ranging from birth through launching, raising children to caring for aging parents, and everything in between. Through these life cycles, stressors and events emerge, sometimes the support of therapy is needed. Family therapy is typically a brief type of therapy which is intended to increase connectedness by strengthening boundaries and improving relations.

Partners oftentimes get stuck in patterns of interactions which lead to the same arguments over and over again. Jackie works with couples by helping them to each identify how their roles and behaviors reciprocate the problems they are experiencing. Through the process, the goal is to improve intimacy and connection, resulting in a stronger relationship.
